The Origin of Vape Squadron
Vape Squadron is arguably one of the best RPG's on the planet. We are run out of our very own Yahoo Club, an exclusive club for the best of the best! The history of Vape Squadron dates back a VERY long time, (in real-world time, of course), and this is the story of how we came to be the mighty Vapes that we are today.....................
Long ago, a young ace pilot named Brandon Dallas joined a small band of freedom fighters named the "Rebel Flight Corps." Brandon had flown with the famed Rogue Squadron, but had decided to go on his own path away from the political barriers that ravaged the Rogues. The leaders of the Rebel Flight Corps, or RFC, instantly recognized his skill and awarded him his own Squadron of X-Wing pilots. For a while, this Squadron was only known as Red Squadron, but Brandon Dallas wanted more. He named them after his favorite thing to do in the whole Galaxy: vaping TIEs! For a few glorious months, Vape Squadron grew and flourished. They became the finest and most dedicated pilots in the RFC, bringing glory and victory to every mission. This was the Golden Age of the RFC.........before the dark times. However, as all things eventually do, the RFC fell. Its leader, who was once kind, caring, and honorable, had turned into a power-mad tyrant. He alienated the RFC from the entire Galaxy, dissolving its political bonds and causing it to be the laughingstock of the universe. The RFC's enemies despised them, (and their allies didn't think any more highly of them!) There was a shining light throughout all of this corruption and failure; a ray of hope. Vape Squadron, mighty Vape Squadron, was too powerful and honorable to be brought down with the RFC. They broke the shackles of the RFC, going freelance and uniting against all odds. After that, there was a short time of rebuilding. Vape Leader's old friends, the Rogues, donated many supplies and ships. The "Vape's Pride," Vape Squadron's ultra high-tech Empress-Class Mothership, was donated by the Rogues, along with many other essentials like a payload of Krupx MG-10 Proton Torpedoes. During this time, the Vapes grew strong. Their numbers more than doubled......more than tripled........almost QUADRUPLED as the remnants of the RFC and other freedom fighters came to bask in their glory. The Vapes were no longer an X-Wing Squadron; rather, they accepted warriors of any kind, no matter what they flew, to come join the Vapes' crusade for peace. Vape Squadron grew into one of the most formidable fighting forces that this Galaxy has ever seen. Their skill was unparalleled, their bravery unmatched, their honor unequalled, and their dedication undisputed. As the time flowed, the glory of the Vapes only grew. Coruscant, mighty Imperial Center, has even fell at the hands of the mighty Vape Squadron! Now is the time to thank those who have done such a deed; those who have made Vape Squadron what it is. Your first thoughts may be that now-Admiral Dallas is to thank. No, my friends! He wouldn't even hear it! It is the members.......the Vapes.....who give Vape Squadron its life; who bring it so much glory. The Force manifests itself through the members of Vape Squadron.....and their dedication brings victory each time. Brandon Dallas, proud Vape Leader throughout all of this, has always said that unity is the key to everything. He has ALWAYS preached the benifits of unity.....that united the Vapes would stand, anddivided the Vapes would fall. And as you can see, friends, the Vapes are standing taller than ever thought possible. They have united, throughout good times and bad, and have achieved glory through that unity that binds them. Unity will always be the key in Vape Squadron, and the Force will always be with us.
